Financial Assistance
The Education, Diversity, and Broadening Participation Program of the e-Science 2008 conference will focus on the inclusion of U.S. graduate students from minority groups that are underrepresented in the fields of science and engineering—particularly students at Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs).
The program is currently gathering funding to send graduate students (particularly but not exclusively from underrepresented minority groups) and MSI faculty and students to the conference. Preference will be given to those submitting papers, posters, or research demos.
